When I put these new cartridges into the printer I got an error message that the printer could not detect the cartridges.  I went through the process of cleaning the contacts and so on.  Eventually I got new cartridges retail and these worked.  What do I do to find out if there was a whole batch of bad cartridges, and can I get the ones I bought replaced?  Don't know where else to ask. There doesn't seem to be a place to ask HP about bad products.  HP should be informed a batch of their cartridges were defective.
