Product: Officejet 6000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm searching, unsuccessfully so far, for the "HP Officejet Basic Print Driver" for the Officejet 6000 Wireless (E609).

It is promised on the download page for the Full Software Suite, but I only want the minimum necessary. I already have vast amounts of print/fax/graphic software that I prefer, and the Suite provides lots of help that is *not* at all helpful.

The full featured driver includes a number of items.  You can deselect all but the basic drivers when you install the driver.

Hi,

There is no seperate basic drivers available for windows 10.

 

Download and install the HP Full Feature Software, within the first screens select Minumym Install to install a basic driver or customer the software within the EULA screen by removing any other component than the required print driver.

I used option 2, install the software as is, and delete what i didn't want.

 

Used "Apps & Features" to delete everything that said HP.

The nags stopped, the printer still works fine.  -Many Thanks
