Choices come down to M255 and the Color Laserjet Pro 4201DN. These are both print only (no scanning capability) devices. The 4201 is the latest release of products.

HP CP 2025 printed page has smudges and never the same. Is there an easy fix or what?

Thank you. Not sure if I can fix the HP cp2025. There is a smudge on the page and never in the same spots. Like a roller is turning and smudging the page when printing. What do you think?

You have to consider your page volume.  Your cost per page can be calculated by taking the cost of the replacement cartridge divided by the stated yield and add up all four rates (CMYK) for a color cost per page (CPP).  Of course that CPP is considering only 5% page coverage.   A low end color LaserJet might have a low initial cost, but a set of toners can easily cost the same as the device itself.  If you are using the device for business, I would consider stepping up a Managed Model such as the HP Color LaserJet Managed MFP E47528f -or- HP Color LaserJet Managed E45028dn.
