Black Ink Not Printing

All of a sudden today the black ink stopped printing. The cartridge was not empty but I opened a new one just in case. I tried to align, clean, etc but still nothing. I have tried to copy and print but still printing blank paper. Color is working fine on alignment and test quality reports. My warranty expired on May 21, less than one week ago, which makes this even worse. I don't use the printer very much but at least once a week. If this has happened to you, how did you fix it? Thanks
