Product: HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer

I am trying to print a back and white photo.  I have only black ink. I have marked my print settings as grayscale. The printer goes through all the motions: grabs the paper, makes lots of noise, shoots back out the paper, ...but the photo paper is BLANK. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?
