Product: J4580
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

On my J4580, the printer does not print black ink, color is ok. i have used 3 new HP cartridges, tried cleaning cartridges over and over and have tried aligning cartridge. Since I can't print out an alignment sheet, I also tried an alignment sheet from a long ago set up but printer message states "does not recognize" the alignment sheet. Any help appreciated as I can't afford another printer. Thank you.

I bought a brand new HP901 black ink from Office Depot yesterday and nothing changed.  I completely uninstalled the J4580 and reinstalled the printer but nothing changed. I plugged the printer power supply into a wall inlet and nothing. Now the printer won’t clearly print in color. What options are left now? I do appreciate your help. Just frustrated! Thanks.
