If your HP Envy 4520 printer display is showing a black lit screen and is unresponsive, try the following steps to fix the issue:

Power Reset:

  • Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the display is working properly.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download any available firmware updates for your model.

Verify Power Source:

  • Ensure the printer is connected to a stable power source.
  • Try plugging the printer into a different outlet.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • If the printer has a reset option or you can enter the settings menu, try resetting the settings to defaults.

Check Cable Connections:

  • Ensure all connections are secure, especially the power cable.

Hope this helps!
