Hello, 

My office-jet 8710 has black vertical lines on the display screen and the power button is not responsive.  I tried disconnecting the power and it would be fine for few hours then it becomes unresponsive again with the same symptoms.  I tried downgrading the firmware and that did not fix it.  I tried upgrading the firmware to the latest version and that also did not fix it.  Each time I need to use the printer , I would have to unplug the power and plug it back in. I then would have few hours with the printer working before the screen displays the vertical lines and the printer become unresponsive. 
has anyone had any luck fixing this issue?
