Blank Pages or printing only some parts of pages

Since 4 days my printer deskjet 2540 stoped printing most part of documents. Most pages are blank or pint only whats within table contents, not simple text. I observe when i click print, the printer status gets yellow and when the page (blank) comes off the printer changes to green again. I could only print a scan, nothing more. thats very weird. I think i must have clicked some buttons on the printer. The printer also loses the wireless connection in seconds. Can you Pls help? thank you

Before I could suggest any troubleshooting steps, I would like to know the following:

1. Which is the OS that you are using?
2. Is the wireless light on the printer stable?
3. Does the print quality report look good? If you haven't checked, follow the steps:

• Load clean, white U.S. Letter or A4 paper in the input tray, if necessary.

• Touch and hold the Power button (), and then press the Cancel button ().

• Let go of the Cancel button and then the Power button. The test page prints.
