Black cartridge light blinking  problem  in hp deskjet 1515 printer   but when I reset printer  one or two page print again light blinking

I understand the blinking light on the black cartridge of your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 All-in-One Printer typically indicates a problem with the black ink cartridge. 

 

Here are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

Check the Cartridge Installation:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the printer cover and ensure the black cartridge is installed correctly. Remove and then reinsert it to make sure it is properly seated.

Clean the Cartridge Contacts:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Remove the black ink cartridge.
  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to gently clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge and inside the printer.
  • Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the cartridge.

Check for Protective Tape:

  • Ensure that any protective tape that covers the ink nozzle is removed from the cartridge.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the back of the printer.
  • Turn the printer on.

Replace the Cartridge:

  • If the problem persists, the black ink cartridge may be defective or empty. Replace it with a new HP original cartridge.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can download the latest firmware from the HP support website. 

Run Printer Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool provided by HP, to diagnose and fix many common printer issues. You can download it from the HP support website.

Check for Error Messages:

  • If there are any error messages displayed on the printer screen or computer, refer to the printer's manual
