Hello, I have a HP DeskJet 4100 series printer. I had 2 jobs waiting to be printed and they did not print. I figured out my printer was out of black ink. I was surprised because I had a 67XL cartridge and I really have not printed too many pages. Anyway, I bought a new cartridge and inserted it and shut the door tight. The power button is blinking. Nothing else is lit. I tried to turn the printer off and nothing seems to work to do that. I followed instructions to try to print a new page and nothing happened. I went and deleted the print job that had already been requested and still the light blinks. I know this has happened before and maybe corrected itself it I unplug the printer and then plug it back in. I want to get it fixed without unplugging it. This printer has been very irritating since i got it this past December. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be? Thank you!
