I just recently moved and hooked up my HP PageWide 477 and after I plug it in I'm getting a blue screen with an error code of B8F04916.  Does anyone know what this means?

Memory Assert Error

If possible update Firmware

Replace Main PCA, (or whole unit)

If it's in warranty contact HP Support

Thank you for the rely.  How can I update the firmware if I can't get into the printer?  The bluescreen comes up as soon as I reboot the printer.

Did you try the common procedure and unplug the printer from 110V cable while keeping the "ON" switch pressed for 1 minute? This resets the memory function and the printer under normal conditions will boot again.

Also, regarding the error: did you print PDF's? Possibly more than one from the ADF?

HP actually replaced the printer.  It was under warranty.  They were unable to fix it so they gave me a new one.
