Hi,
I've just got an error un the laserJet printer M428dw trying to print from my Android móvil. It's appears a message B8778EE4 and printer dices not allow to do anything...I had to switch off It but the Issué persists so, could anyone help me? Thanks un advance.

What after that?
LaserJet Pro MFP M428dw has been factory reset. It had the latest firmware. It worked previously.
Im using the newest update of the HP Smart app on a Google Pixel 6.
Most frequently, its instant blue screen (same error code) on sending the printing job, though sometimes the printer wil register the ping and do nothing.
Then the print spooler will show the job as errored out, HP Smart will show it's finished and the Printer itself is unresponsive until forcibly reset

Seems like everyone is getting this problem in 2024 I have a LaserJet m479 with the same error code. HP wants to charge $40 for phone call troubleshooting and an additional $400 if it's a hardware issue. I wonder if this is how they are scamming us. Smh

Our Customer have the same Problem with M478 (connected with WiFi) since january 2024 with the Printer Plug-in and HP Smart App on a Samsung Smartphone.
After delete and reinstall the plug-in success the first print job, by the second job came instant a blue screen B8778EE4.
Printer Firmware, Android OS and Apps are on the newest Version.
By the way, Printing from Windows PC to the M478 works fine.

We are facing the same issue sind nov/dec 2023 when using printing from android. On my phone the note is shown that print spooler is blocking printing, than shortly after taht the bluescreen with error code is shown and thats it. Nothing happen.
Also my mum & dad reported the same issue.
Printer resetted, mobile resrtarted, chache deleted, apps newly installed- nothing resolved this issue until today 😞
When my boyfriend is using his mobile, also android, no issue
But all in all no helpful solution found in web. So as some more pepole are having this issue, what ist the solution helpdesk hp?
