HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer

My printer just went to a blue screen with the code: D80774EC. This is the second Envy printer that has done this(the first one froze up completely and had to replace). Short of unplugging from power and plugging back in  what can I do about this I really don't want to get another printer.  HP Envy Photo 7800 All-in-one series,  firmware version: PALSUPPPXN003.2220B.00

Hi @huey59,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are getting an error message on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
