Thank you for resending the link, after going down all items it seems thats not the answer. However,  I will wait and see if it happens again. It could have been the setting from his phone. Thank you for taking the time to school me, appreciate it!:smileyhappy:

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the print is blurry or smudged,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Have you ensured genuine HP Ink cartridges are being used?

Did you check if the paper is being curled or wrinkled during insertion?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

Step 1: Use genuine HP ink cartridges

HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink or toner supplies. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP or refilled cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP cartridges, the steps in this document might not resolve the issue. To check the authenticity of your cartridges, go to hp.com/go/anticounterfeit.

Visit HP SureSupply to check ink or toner cartridge compatibility or purchase replacement cartridges and other supplies.

  1. Go to HP SureSupply.

  2. If necessary, select your country/region.

    Figure : Country/region selector

    Selecting your country/region
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to order new supplies or check cartridge compatibility with your printer.

You can also purchase genuine HP cartridges and supplies from other retailers.

If installing genuine HP ink cartridges resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

Step 2: Make sure you are using the appropriate paper for your print job

Make sure the paper you are using is appropriate for the print job. If it is not, reload the printer with an appropriate paper type.

  • Load the paper print side down in the input tray. Many papers have printing and nonprinting sides, like photo paper and other special media. Usually, the smoother side is the "print side," and sometimes the non-print side has a logo of the paper manufacturer on it.

Good Luck.

Thank you for the replying,

It's weird because almost all smudged printing issues are the cause of the printer, however, I'm glad to know it's not the printer for a change that said, Please take your time and get back to me with the results,

I'll be awaiting your response and would be glad to help.

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.
