Hi there
my DeskJet 4120e has an issue where the bottom of the page is cut off. I have tried alignment (as per other similar problems), carried out a factory reset, checked the drivers (using HP smart software) and tried from another PC and get the same results. It even fails to print properly using the HP Smart program printing a PDF.
Now I get it that there is an area at the bottom of the page you cannot print on, but how do I tell the software I am printing from? Other suggestions are to change the margins settings in printer to DEFAULT but I don't have any setting to change margins
thanks
Alan

Hi,
thanks for the reply, I get that but when I send a job to the printer it should automatically know what the margins are, surely?
I just send a pdf to print and effectively it is useless because the app thinks it can print outside the bottom margin, there must be a solution to this (other than throwing the printer in the bin as it is useless as is)
