Carriage jam. Clear carriage jam. Press OK

No paper seen, front or back. Reboot doesnot help. Ideas?

I performed the 7 steps. Nothing resolved the issue of "paper jam"

The final task is a suggested 3rd party maintenance. Just to look at it will cost me more than a new equivalent or better printer/scanner/fax...........

Too bad, as the printer was serving us well.
