My printer will only print grayscale for all documents but I can print photos in color. I have replaced cartridges and done head clean, when I do an alignment it says it's failed and can't align.

I read about the "alignment failed" error message you're seeing on your Photosmart C5380, and wanted to reply with my suggestion for you!
Check out this guide and try all of the steps, to hopefully get through the alignment issue:
The Error Message 'Printer alignment failed' Displays on the Control Panel
If the troubleshooting does not help at all, I would lastly suggest technical support.

Thank you so very much for your help. I've only just read your email and did the alignment via the printer not the computer and it works perfectly. I have just printed a document and it is perfect. 🙂 Very happy.

Hi, I'm having alignmnet failed come up and am not able to print anything. I have done everything suggested and when I went to HP Support is states my printer is no longer supported by HP. Truly disappointed because this printer is fantastic. Can you offer some suggestions for me to print from my amazing printer?
