Hurray and Halleluila!

After a frustrating on-line session with HP only to learn they could/would not help me because I was out of warranty, I checked this forum and found Matt's solution and all the other tips so now after spending 2 days with that dreaded Ink System Failure message, I am up and running and seem to be printing just fine. I never knew about the "secret menu". Hope it lasts but for the moment, I can't thank you enough! It must feel wonderful to be able to help so many frustrated users!

Saved two 8180's from the bin after hard resets failed. Might remain an HP customer.

     Just want to let everyone know that this proceedure works for photosmart 6200 series printer with 0xc18a0101 Ink System Failure. Thanks for the info. Thought the the printer would be junk, but it's up and operational. Thank You!
