Hi @Geno2435

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The C9C70000 error is often associated with an issue in HP printers, typically indicating a hardware or firmware problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue:

1. Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

2. Check Connections:

  • Ensure all cables (power, USB, etc.) are securely connected. If using a USB connection, try a different USB port on your computer.

3. Reset the Printer:

  • If your printer has a reset option in the settings menu, try performing a factory reset. This can often clear persistent errors.

4. Update Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. You can do this through the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website.

5. Check for Paper Jams:

  • Even if you don’t see any visible jams, it’s worth checking all paper paths and rollers to ensure nothing is stuck.

6. Inspect for Damage:

  • Look for any visible signs of damage inside the printer, such as broken parts or misaligned components.

7. Try a Different Power Outlet:

  • Plug the printer into a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the outlet itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
