CAN HP INK 650 BE REPLACED WITH HP INK 680

Hi can I have a positive and guaranteed answer regarding my query?
Hp ink 650 is not available here in the Phil.
I ran out of ink and too bad, everywhere I go, I couldn't find an original HP INK 650.
Someone once told me that the 650 ink has an alternative or substitute number here in the Phil. and that is 680.
But according to that HP AGENT, there is no guarantee that my printer could read the replacement ink.
once bought and opened for trial, the ink cannot be replaced nor cant be returned.

okey this is what happened. 

my husband worked in Saudi before and he just thought of buying an HP printer before he went back in the Philippines as a gift for the kids.

he brought with him a few numbers of HP650 ink cartridge incase we ran out of ink for printing stuffs and projects.

too bad it finally went out or ran out.

so we went to the HP service centers to buy an ink but unfortunately, the HP INK 650 is not available in the Philippines.

according to the HP Staff, it is commonly substituted with HP 680 cause INK 680 has almost the same feature as INK 650 but she can never guaranteed us that if bought that 680 substitute, our printer could read it. so she mentioned to us that THERE would be no replacement and no refund just incase it never worked

The answer is no.  You are trying to use the wrong cartridges.

HP Printers - Find and Install Cartridges after Moving to another Country.  The printer needs to be regionalized to the new country.

You will need new cartridges from the country you are in at the time you contact HP below.
