Hi,
I think your printer is an HP Officejet 4620 or 4610. Anyway, inkjet prnters need all ink cartridges to keep up and running, they would stop at the warming up process when they detect something is missing,
You can tell your printer to print Black ink onlt using the following steps: (for Windows):
(a) Double click printer icon on desktop,
(b) Click Set Preferences,
(c) Click Advanced,
(d) Select "Black Ink only" for Print in Grayscale
(e) Click Ok/Apply ...
Note: As mentioned above: Printer still needs all color inks and it will consume a very small amount of inks during warmng up process.
Regards.

Ok Thank You, also on the Advanced area, do I make sure the Media is in Plain Paper..because it was set for HP something...and wanted to change Black grey scale back to Color, But when I changed it to Plain Paper..it seems to be Fine and holding, So was that right??...:smileyvery-happy:

Yes, if you are using plain paper you should set that in the driver. Photo paper is not compatible with the black ink, if you select HP Photo paper in the driver it will use color ink even to print black text.
