Hi @richard3127,

A warm welcome to HP Community!

Does it happen if you print an image or a web page?

Could you also print a configuration page and let me know if you see any alignment issue. Instructions on how to print a configuration page can be found here

It should read, "Officejet 7310 printing out of alignment".

Obviously the answer kindly supplied will not be applicable.

Would you be able to print a diagnostic page and check if the printer is printing the page in an angle. In order to print the report:

  1. From the product control panel, press * and # simultaneously, and then release both buttons.

  2. Press 1, 2, and then 3. The Service menu appears.

  3. Press the right arrow button () twice. The Special Reports menu opens.

  4. Press OK.

  5. Press the right arrow button () once. The Print Cartridge menu opens.

  6. Press OK. The diagnostic page prints.

Heading should read HP Officejet 7310 printing out of alignment.

Followed instruction supplied - printing is off set to the right when printing the report.

Thanks for your assistance

  2. Use the arrow keys to select Tools and then press the OK button.

  3. Select Clean Print Cartridge and then press OK.

  4. Press the Setup button.

  5. Press 6, then press 2. This displays the Tools menu.

  6. selects Align Print Cartridge.

Let me know how it goes!

Apologies for delay in replying (been in hospital).

Tried your solution - still the same.

Even tried a factory reset on the printer, but still prints at an angle.

Regards

Richard
