HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn randomly goes offline between print jobs.  After recycling the power, the printer comes back online after several seconds (maybe a minute?).  Sometimes, I have to run Troubleshooting to get it back online but it doesn't find anything it needs to fix.  I am running Win10 Pro with all updates.  The printer is assigned a static IP address on my local network. The printer driver is HP Universal Printing PCL 6 (61.300.1.25780), UPD version 7.2.0.25780.  Any ideas on how I keep the printer online?

An additional problem is it prints an extra, blank page after each print job.  How do I stop this?

Check what sort of port is configured for the driver. Often it automatically gets set to WSD mode which is highly unreliable. Best option is to create a Standard TCP/IP port and use the network host name of the printer as the address. This ensures that the printer is always found. The problem with WSD is that any errors usually knock the printer offline and do not detect when the printer comes back online until the printer is restarted.

Thank you!  That seems to have worked at the moment but it will take a while to confirm.  If the problem hasn't been fixed and recurs, I will reply to this message.
