Hi All, I've bought a CP3525 for our Kindergarten, to have a cheep and fast printer for printing pictures and all other things.

Unlikely it prints dots on coloured pages. I've put the pictures that I've taken here.

Please have a look and perhaps a solution for that.

That looks like a defective black toner cartridge.

 

Go to Diagnostic menu on you printer front panel, select Disable cartridge check, remove black cartridge and try to print Diagnostic pages to see how the print will look without black.

Hi Valsimot,

first of all, thanks for your help.

But unfortunatly it did not help to remove the black one.

Maybe cyan and magenta are both bad.

But I can't test it, if removed, logically there is no magenta or cyan printet.

I think I have to get new ones to verify this, or do you have another suggestion for me?

Remove one at a time, do the same but this time remove cyan and try. It's cyan or black the dots are dark on the print.

Hi, I did it, as you told, but dots still on magenta. If it is a problem with the cartriges, it will be on both, magenta and cyan.

I think only some other ones for exchange will clear that.
