Calendrer Creator 8.0 will not print from my new HP computer to my HP printer. All else will print with no problem., and it printed through my old HP. This seems to be a recurring problem as I have seen an archived discussion about exactly the same with the 4.0 version of the Program. Has anyone been able to correct this??
Thanks for your help

@AnneVu, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!
I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.
I understand you're having trouble printing from Calendar Creator 8.0 on your new HP computer to your HP printer, even though other programs print without issue. Since this worked on your previous HP system, the issue likely stems from compatibility between Calendar Creator 8.0 and your new Windows version or printer driver.
Here are some steps to help resolve this:
Check Compatibility Mode
Calendar Creator 8.0 is an older program and may not be fully compatible with newer versions of Windows (especially Windows 10/11).
- Right-click the Calendar Creator 8.0 shortcut or executable file.
- Select Properties > Compatibility tab.
- Check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select Windows XP or Windows 7.
- Also check “Run this program as administrator.”
- Click Apply and OK, then try printing again.
Use HP’s Full Feature Driver (Not Universal Print Driver)
Some older programs don’t work well with HP’s Universal Print Driver (UPD). Make sure your printer is using the Full Feature Software and Driver:
- Go to Official HP® Support
- Enter your printer model (e.g., HP OfficeJet Pro 9025, HP LaserJet M203dw, etc.)
- Download and install the Full Feature Software and Driver (not the Basic or UPD version).
Set Your HP Printer as Default
Sometimes older apps only print to the default printer.
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers
- Right-click your HP printer > Set as default printer
Try Printing to PDF First
As a workaround, try printing the calendar to a PDF file:
- In Calendar Creator, choose Print > Select Printer > Microsoft Print to PDF
- Save the PDF, then open it and print using your HP printer
Update Windows and Printer Firmware
Ensure your system and printer firmware are up to date:
- Windows Update: Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all updates
- HP Printer Firmware: Visit Official HP® Support, enter your printer model, and check for firmware updates
