The printhead cleaning shouldn't have caused your display issue, but there's a few things that can be tried.
First, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done, while the printer is powered on, remove the power cord from the back of the printer for one minute. If there is still nothing on the printer's display screen it needs to be replaced. You can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to discuss options based on your warranty.
Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to resolve your issue or reach some resolution, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

Hey @sheetmetaldan,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you are not seeing the proper display. I can help you with that, however I am going to need some clarification first. Please let me know if you are not seeing caller ID on the printer, or on your phone. Once I know that I will be better able to assist you.

It works now. I tried it first directly in the wall and it worked. Hated to loose the surge protection so I tried it using the previously used surge protector outlett. It worked there also. It seems that just unpluging it for a minute as you suggested was all it took. Thanks. Dan
