can I use hp envy pro 6455 for in my parent’s home only for copying?   They do not have WiFi. Will I be able to even initial set up without WiFi?

Yes, you can use the printer as standalone machine for copy only. However this printer does not have a display, hence most of the status, alert and error message will only show up at the HP Smart app or HP Software.

 

Hence you may not be able to enjoy many features, benefits and experience. There is also a critical firmware fix that comes with the printer which requires network.

 

If you really intend to use as standalone printer for copy purpose only, I suggest go for printer that has a display.
