Can I use hp 678 cartridge in HP DeksJet Ink Advantage 3635 printer which supports HP 680 cartridge?

Hi

I am using a HP DeksJet Ink Advantage 3635 printer that supports HP 680 cartridge. But by mistake I ordered HP678 cartridge and the return period has expired. I want to know if I can use HP 678 instead of HP 680 cartridge in my printer.

Hi Pavan,

HP 678 cartridges are intended for older printer models, it is not compatible and cannot be use with an HP Deskjet 3635 printer:

Hi Shlomi,

Thank you for your reply. I ordered this cartridge on Amazon and the return date has passed. Is there any way HP can buy back this cartridge and replace me with 680 cartridge. 

It would be really of great help if HP can do this for me and set an exemplary customer service example.
