Can a complete macOS driver for the HP ENVY Inspire 7955e be installed without HP Smart bloatware?

New HP ENVY Inspire 7955e install on macOS Monterrey ... is there a way to install a full driver without HP Smart? The printer is successfully connected to the same wifi network as the iMac. HP Smart is installed on the iMac and is able to interact with the printer. But the printers and scanner settings in macOS warn that the loaded driver is a generic one and like cannot use all printer features and, in fact, printing from various apps on the iMac doesn't work -- documents just stay I the print queue and never get to the printer.

HP Smart is the software solution provided for Mac with AirPrint, there is no other solution to be used.

Please restart the printer first, and then make sure it have its latest firmware installed:

Next, open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the minus sign to remove the existing print queue.

Next, click the plus sign to add it and select the printer, allow it a moment and ensure you see the Printer model selected within the Use drop-down menu and then press Add.

Now try printing and check for any difference,

I did exactly these steps even before my original post. Still, after re-adding the printer with the + sign, printing from various apps on the iMac doesn’t work correctly. For example, if printing an photo image from the Preview app, there is no choic to print in color from the print driver!
