@TH3C1JH0NT, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble printing with your HP ENVY 6030e All-in-One Printer, even after replacing the ink cartridges. Let's walk through some steps to get you back up and printing:
Check Ink Cartridge Installation
Make sure the new cartridges are properly installed:
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Ensure both cartridges click into place and are not loose.
- Close the door and wait for the printer to initialize.
Check for Error Messages or Blinking Lights
- Look at the printer’s control panel or HP Smart app for any error icons (like a blinking ink or paper icon).
- If you see any, refer to this guide: HP DeskJet, ENVY 6000, 6400 - Blinking lights and error codes | HP® Support
Run HP Smart App Diagnostic
The HP Smart app can automatically detect and fix many issues:
- Download or open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
- Select your printer > Printer Status > Diagnose & Fix.

Check Print Queue and Connection
- Make sure the printer is connected to Wi-Fi or USB.
- On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer > See what’s printing > Cancel all documents.
- Try printing a test page.
Update Printer Firmware
Outdated firmware can cause printing issues:
- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Tools > Printer Updates.
Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
Reset the Printer
- Unplug the printer while it's on.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and try printing again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
