Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP OfficeJet 6978. I want to know the ink levels. Others with the same question are told to go to a menu and press “Ink.”  That option does nkt

appear on my printer.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
 

From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch (Ink) to check the estimated ink levels. You may also refer to this document for more information - HP Printers - How to Check Ink or Toner Levels
