@JSD27, Welcome to HP Support Community!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I would like to know the following:

  • Is there any error message on the printer?
  • Are you able to make photocopies on the printer?
  • Are you using the AirPrint feature to print or the HP Smart App?
  • Is this printer enrolled on Instant Ink?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

@JSD27

Try printing using the AirPrint feature on the iOS device. Refer to this document HP Printers - Printing with Apple AirPrint (iOS) for help.

If it works fine, you can try removing the HP Smart App and add it back from the App Store.

And then try printing using the HP Smart App.

Let me know if this helps.
