Hello, my printer was hit by the bricking driver update in October 2022 (I think it was 20221012) that made it useless because the driver didn’t update correctly.  And the error “resend update” will not clear.  
Following directions in other threads, I replaced the formatter board loaded with the firmware that I need: 20200612. I need this version because it allowed me to use non-HP inks before HP became capitalistic terrorists. Unfortunately, the error still persists with hard resets. Although it makes it through more of the initializing process before  the error appears. 
Any suggestions on how to clear this error without upgrading the firmware? If I could figure out how to resend the update from 20200612, that would be ideal.
