Printer suddenly stopped printing.  Went through all the diagnostics until my only option was to replace the printhead.  I am having problems finding how/where to order.  Troubleshooting directions referred me to Part CN643A but when I click on that it shows a drop-down list of machines the part is compatible with and my machine is not listed.

What country are you located?  The document here suggests the CN642A as the proper printhead for the Photosmart 7510 C311a (at least for me, in the US).

Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.

Before ordering a replacement printhead I would suggest soaking the printhead as shown in the document here, it may resolve the issue.

Thank you so much.  Printer appears to be working fine now.  This soaking method really worked!  Can this process be used again if the problem reoccurs in the future?

HP Recommended

The soak process can be repeated if needed in the future.  It should not be needed frequently.

I am glad your issue was resolved (withough having to buy a printhead).
