HP Officejet 100 Mobile printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It seems everytime I get a new Windows 10 update my printer stops working. In the past I have been able to re-add it and get it working but not this time. I had two printers installed so I removed both of them and am now trying to re-add it. I have tried downloading OJ_SF_100ML411_Full_Win_WW_140_022.exe and running it but it doesn't seem to add the printer. I have also tried adding a new bluetooth device and it finds OJL411MY477D11XQ which I believe is the officejet 100. I choose it and click next. It asked me to put in pass phrase. O enter 000000 which I beliee is the default the printer comes with and I get a message saying 'times up - ypur printer quit waiting - try adding it again. At the same time I get a grey rectangle box in the bottom right corner of my screen that says;

Add a device

Tap to set up your OJL411MY477D11XQ

If I click this I get the Bluetooth devices screen and then shortly after that I get the following paired device window;

unknown device

connection failed

I am currently running Windows 10, OS Build 17134.285 on a Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series laptop

Take a look at this support doc.

Have you tried using a USB cable?

Hi Dean,

Well I am not sure if this made the difference or not but I deleted a phone I had as a bluetooth device. I then tired adding the printer again and this time after it asked me for the pass phrase ot worked succcessfully. Thanks for you suggestion
