Here's what I did to work around this.  I downloaded Foxit; it's a free PDF viewer like Adobe Reader.  Foxit installs a sort of virtual printer in Windows 7 something  like print-to-file in the older era but nicer.  It is a standard PDF file that I save  in Dropbox.  When I get around to turning on the computer where the printer is attached, I just print the PDF file. There are variations on this theme using SkyDrive or other cloud storage venues.  I don't have any cameras or tablets or IPads or Phones --  just three PCs.

 

If the PC where the printer is attached happens to be turned on at the time, I can print to it by way of the ATT box where Uverse comes in.  My PCs share a network but I generally have only one turned on and working, my Dell Optiplex SX280.

That's because the HP 1015 printer is not a wireless printer.  USB only.

I have deskjet 1050 with print server but HP software is looking for printer connected through USB. So i only able to print wirelessly but not able to scan...
