Welcome to the HP Community --
In general, what you do depends on your Operating System and how you are viewing the email (software, app, browser).
Printing from within Outlook (software), for example, generally works, though it might be needful in some circumstances to double-click on the email and open it is its own window.
Browser printing is generally pretty straight forward, though you might be required to download attachments to print.
Next, there is the printer / destination setting in that app / software --
Is the printer selected as the destination?
Is the attachment a file type the app / software understands?
If you cannot get it to work...
The usual workaround for attachments that don't print is to download and save the attached file --
Once you have a copy of the file on your device, open the file in its document editor or your printing app > print the file.
