@ayusut, Welcome to HP Support Community!
To provide you with an accurate solution, I would need the following details:
- May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
- What is the Operating System installed on your computer?
- Did you make any changes to the printer or the computer recently?
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello,
Did this ever get resolved? I have the same issue with a new HP Laser Jet M479 that I just purchased from HP. Specifically, I get the same error message when printing from Apple's "Preview" but not when using Adobe Reader (or similar). With respect to a previous post, I am not sure it is an adequate/appropriate for an HP support agent to consider a problem to be resolved when the work around involved using other software. By analogy, I didn't have this problem with my old printer, should I return the new HP printer and revert back to the old one?

I don't know if HP solved the problem. I have the previously mentioned work around by avoiding using "Preview" and using Adobe instead.
I also found if I save the file as a PDF, then open it and print it, that also works.
This is easier for me than hunting for driver updates and such.
Maybe HP will send users a fix in the next software update so we don't have to go on a "scavenger hunt".

I have gotten this too at times. I have shut down the printer, waited about 15 seconds, then re-started it and it often works then. You may need to restart your computer if that doesn't work.
If that still doesn't work you will need someone with more knowledge than me.
