HP Envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I tried to update my Dell laptop to Windows 11, but the update failed.   Ever since then, I cannot print from my HP Envy 7640.   I have uninstalled and reinstalled and updated drivers.   I did a thorough removal following instuctions in other posts.  My network can find the printer.  It is set as default.  If I try to click something, the screen flickers very quickly and nothing happens.  I have searched and searched and can't find anybody else who's had this problem.  HP Print and Scan doctor says there are no problems with my printer.

Any suggestions?

Hi. I installed yesterday windows 11 and now I have the same problem. I cannot print with my envy photo 7134.

I cannot even dowload HP Smart anymore.

How did you solve it?

thanks

David

I'm so sorry -- I just now saw your post.   I followed the below recommendations and solved the problem.   However, I made the mistake of trying again to install Windows 11 and cannot print and that solution is NOT working, so it must have been the final step in the many things I had tried previously.   But maybe it will work for you if you haven't already solved your issue.
