I am receiving the error message. UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH PRINTER.
The error message reads: The print job couldn't be completed because the printer is unavailable or not connected. Make sure that your printer is connected or wireless connection is active. Then make sure that the printer is on and ready. If you installed this printer with an IP address, then you might need to update the IP address. Use the Update IP Address menu item on your printer.
If you anyone has experienced this error please let me know. Thank you

It means that the connectivity between the devices is fine and the printer hardware is working fine.
Install the printer using the TCP/IP port:
Check for any pending Windows updates first.
- On the PC, go to Control panel > Devices and printers > Remove the existing printer entry > click on Add a printer(at the top)
- Under 'Choose a device or printer', click on 'The printer I want isn't listed'.
- Select 'Add a printer using a TCP/IP address'
- Find the IP address of the printer by tapping on the wireless/ethernet icon on the printer screen
- Type in the 'IP address in Hostname or IP address' box, click next
- Proceed to the next steps by following the on-screen instructions.
- Try printing.
Let me know how it goes.

@DAT16, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to print wirelessly. To assist you better,
Which device are you trying to print from? Is it a Mac or a Win PC?
Restart the router, the printer, and the computer
Try printing. If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
- Make sure the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thank you. I thought that would resolve my issue. The first suggestion wasn't successful. So I went to the printer and went into the Wireless section to Restore Network Defaults. That actions was successful. But I went to print an Excel document and I received the same error message, Unable to Communicate with Printer. Do you have any other suggestions?

Did you check the following:
- Make sure the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
-
Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Let me know how it goes.

Kumar,
I spoke with my internet provider. My wireless router is a dual band router. But the representative I spoke to said there's no way to go into the router and rename either part. So I'm not sure how to proceed. Could you give me any other suggestions?
Thank you

If the printer and the computer are on the 2.4GHz band, tap on the wireless icon on the printer to get the IP address.
Follow the steps mentioned in my previous post to print a test page.
Let me know how it goes.

I clicked on Print Info on the screen with my printer's IP address. I can't rename the router and I've already produced a hard copy from the copier aspect of my Photosmart 7525. What information on this page that I printed might help you help me troubleshoot to print again? It's a printout of this machine's Network Configuration Page.

As I have mentioned previously, following below steps will give us a confirmation on connectivity
- Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
- Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
- If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website'.
- Go to Tools > Print a test page.
Keep me posted.
