Officejet Pro L7555
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Was able to print from internet.   Installed driver update from HP support site.   Am no longer able to print from web site.   Can print fine from Word document, MS Works, Libre Office.   My operating system is Windows 7 home 32 bit, browser is Firefox.   System is hardwired brand new Asus desktop computer two weeks old.   The computer initially recgonized the printer and would print from the internet but would not after the driver update.   When the printing progress window opens it is immediately covered by another window that says"a printing error has occured" and it takes me to the Win 7 documents library screen.   The model number as best as I can tell is CB821A.

MusicMan, Thank you for your prompt attention to my problem.  I ran the the HP print and scan doctor.  The program stopped in the process and told me my software was out of date but when I tried to install it, the program cancelled and told me it couldn't install the software update so I skipped the upgrade and continued with the scan doctor which told me there was nothing wrong with the printer.  I tried to print from the internet but no go. Next, I opened up Internet Explored and was able to print from the internet albeit the text was not very dark.  It looks like you are correct and the problem is in Firefox.  OK, what next?  I assume there is a setting in Firefox I can change.  Looked in options but didn't see anything that looked like it was the one.

Hi @BJ7,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that you can print from a Word document, but not from FireFox, with your HP Officejet Pro L7555 printer on Windows 7. I am happy to help!

This almost sounds like an issue with FireFox itself, considering you can print from a Word document. Have you tried printing from another web browser such as: Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome? If so, does it work?

In the meantime, I would suggest to also try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, to see if it can resolve the issue automatically.

Let's start from there, and see what happens!

Hope to hear from you soon! :generic:
