I have a LaserJet Pro M148dw that has worked well for years, but suddenly I get a "Printer not responding" message when I try to print. I can't scan, either. I have tried resetting the printer, deleting and re-adding the printer, and unplugging the printer. Nothing works.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Are you able to copy? How is the Printer connected to the MAC? Which app do you use to print and scan?

 

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16
