HP desk-jet 1050 all in one printer j410
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to print a pdf file that contains a barcode. the whole page got printed normally but the barcode,  the printer uses a big amount of ink for only the barcode and that makes the lines thick and not readable by the scanner

How do I fix that? Is there any setting I should adjust to get a clear printing?

I'm using A4 paper and the printer is HP desk-jet 1050 all in one printer j410

Hi @MOsamir

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print the barcode. I'd be happy to assist you.

This seems like an application-specific issue.

Try printing the PDF file as an image.

Refer to this document.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Try updating the Adobe Reader app. Click here to know how.

You may try to reinstall the same.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks @Kumar0307 for your help

I did what you said and unfortunately the problem is still presists

I've been told by many to reduce the amount of ink the printer uses for the barcode as it's the reason of the problem but I don't know how, Is there such a thing ? And how can I do that?

@MOsamir

You cannot control the flow of ink from the printer. It is done by the printer software automatically. There is no manual way to do it.

Have you tried printing the barcode present in any different file types or websites and check if the issue persists?

Keep me posted.
