Hi @Marvalee,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering issues printing from your Samsung Android phone to your HP Officejet Printer, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
  • Restart Printer: Turn off your HP Officejet Printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Restart Phone: Restart your Samsung Android phone to refresh its system.
  • Check Printer Status: Make sure there are no error messages or issues displayed on the printer's control panel.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP printer and install them if necessary. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.
  • Update Printer App: If you're using a specific app to print from your Android phone, make sure it's up to date. Check the Google Play Store for any available updates.
  • Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the print queue, causing new print jobs to fail. Open the printer app on your phone, cancel any pending print jobs, and then try printing again.
  • Reinstall Printer App: If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer app on your Android phone.
  • Check Printer Compatibility: Ensure that your HP Officejet Printer is compatible with Samsung Android devices. You can usually find compatibility information on the HP website or in the printer's user manual.
  • Reset Printer Settings: As a last resort, you can try resetting your printer to its factory default settings. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on how to do this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
