When go to network setup, it finds the new 5G network but does not allow to enter a new password. I tried enabling wifi direct but laptop would not get on the printer wifi. I could not log in with a browser---under Newtwork summary IP address listed as 192.168 etc but that didn't work either. I can't print. I want airprint to work so it must be on the same network. Any help appreciated. I am totally stumped.

I tried what I thought was a factory reset by holding down on the rt lower corner with the HP logo showing. I had to input language et. I turned on wireless and the printer found the new network but did not ask for a password again and could not connect! Any help appreciated!!

I should add that I updated the router to the Verizon cr1000a. I had already disabled the SON -self organizing network-- and I tried both the 5G and 2.4G networks which the printer see and have good signals but it won't connect. I can't find the cable. Any ideas???? I sometimes print from my phone and a laptop downstairs so a wireless solution is best but I am out of ideas.
