I could not turn on the printer.
Power supply is on, powercord working, but printer dead.
Is there an indicator?
The printer is under warranty period, but I am living in remote area.
What to do?

I came across your post and would like to assist.
I understand that your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer does not power on.
Did this issue start after a power surge or a power outage?
Meanwhile, please perform the following steps to release the static power from the printer:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer.
- If the printer is connected via USB then disconnect the USB cable too.
- Press and hold the power button on the printer for 10 seconds as this will release any static energy from the printer.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer. If the printer does not power on by itself then press the power button on the printer and check if it powers on.
In your free time, you may refer to this HP document in your free time as it provides some useful insights to resolve no power issues with HP printers.
If the printer is still unable to power on then I have sent you a private message suggesting the next course of action.

same problem here my hp deskjet inkadvantage 3835 printer is not switching on...the power supply was perfect but the printer is not switching on.i pressed the power button but the printer is not switching on.... if your problem solved pls share how your printer is repaired what is the problem and also tell me what is the solution....

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
