Hi @Surferdude1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

From the Printer:

  1. Cancel using the Front Panel:
    • On the printer's front panel, press the Cancel button (usually a button with an ‘X’ or stop symbol). This should stop the current print job.
    • If there are multiple jobs queued, you might need to cancel each individually.

From your Computer:

Using Windows:

  • Open the Devices and Printers menu from the Control Panel.
  • Right-click on the HP Envy 4500 printer icon and select See what's printing.
  • In the print queue window, click on Printer > Cancel All Documents.

Using macOS:

  • Open System Preferences and go to Printers & Scanners.
  • Select the HP Envy 4500 from the list of printers and click Open Print Queue.
  • Click on Printer > Cancel All Documents to clear the print queue.

From the Embedded Web Server:

If your printer is network-connected, you can manage your print jobs from the Embedded Web Server:

Access the Embedded Web Server:

  • Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the printer (found in the printer settings or on a network test report).

Manage Print Queue:

  • Navigate to the print queue section and cancel the jobs directly from there.

By performing these steps, you should be able to cancel printing and clear any stuck jobs on your HP Envy 4500.

I hope this helps.
