Hi,

 

The issue disappeared for a while now it is back again. When someone calls it does not eavesdrop. it is just sleeping. The problem is intermittent. Check the latest firmware update. it talks about that issue however the firmware installed is the latest. Maybe it the firmware did solve the problem. Can you please check.

Yes, the new update does resolve the fax with sleep mode issue, The update was released on March 11.

 

Try updating the firmware is installed the option will be grayed out, but could you try?

I could not update the printer software, but I managed to get the software version: MALBECPP1N001.2008C.00

The HP software installed on the computer is: 049.003.4475.19206

The driver is: 29.117.02.7675

Hi, there is nothing else I can do. Today I disconnected the answering machine and the fax was set to 6 rings. It does not answer the fax. I am a the end of the road here. The printer/fax is still under warranty. What are the next steps.
