I am in the middle of changing my broadband provider, and because I have already been massively let down by my new provider, I have had to resort to using a mobile phone hotspot as the router for my wireless DeskJet 3636 just for a few days. I have managed to connect the printer wirelessly - at least all the lights are on - but nothing will print. Nothing appears in the printer queue either. I have tried everything in the Virtual Agent, to no avail. Can anyone help?

@PeterB29, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Connecting the printer to a mobile hotspot may not work. You will need a wireless router. 

Alternatively, you may use a USB cable to print from the PC.

 

If you do not have a USB cable, connect the printer and the PC using wifi-direct and you will be able to print the saved files/pictures on the PC

Note: There will be no internet connection while using wifi-direct.
